Description

If you choose to accept this mission, to journey through your lifetime of losses to unload the heaviness of grief so you can lighten up and enjoy what life has to offer you around the bend… then you are making a solid long-term investment in your Self.

Learn this once, and you have gained a lifelong skill, available on demand to address old and new losses experienced over a lifetime.

Details about the upcoming Grief Recovery Method course:

The course runs Tuesdays starting February 22 through April 26, 2022

10:30 am Pacific / 1:30 pm Eastern

2 hours weekly on Zoom

(To learn more about private sessions (the schedule is customized to your needs) for one to three people, see link below.)

Homework assignments walk you towards relief from grief via specific actions and choices, step by step.

Each week you’ll be given:
1- a reading assignment from the Handbook
and
2- an exercise which leads you through the next step in the sequence of the Grief Recovery Method®. Plan for at least an hour to work on each weekly assignment.

Part of the following week’s small group activity directly relates to the homework you completed in the last week. If the idea of completing assignments between classes every week doesn’t sound very attractive, then this action-oriented course may not be suitable.

If you decide to participate, you agree to the following course parameters:

  • Attend all classes. Missing a week can easily make you feel like you’re off track. Of course, if something happens and you must miss one, we’ll deal. Missing two, however, and the trekking through this journey starts to feel like it’s harder to stay oriented.
  • Complete the weekly reading and homework assignments. Grief recovery is about completing a specific series of action-oriented steps, from beginning to end, just like any other trek where you’ve got your heart set on reaching that summit where you can finally see things in a whole new way.
  • Confidentiality, Emotional Honesty, and Individuality. We’ll get into these in more detail during the course. This course adheres to honoring the presence and transformation of each person in circle, from the “insight out,” and that each individual can share their own personal experience and not speak for others.
